Have you ever been sitting somewhere and remembered the day before clearly in your mind, sort of a day-dream, re-counting the events, conversations, and activities clearly and maybe adding a giggle at that funny thing someone said? Well, today that's me, and yesterday it was October.

Since when does Life have any permission to waltz around all through my schedule messing around with wants, needs, must-dos, shouldas, and maybes? It's fine with me when things are under control and I can see Life making it's little bare-foot fancy-free tracks around each day that goes by, but when it gets giant, steel-toed clodhoppers on special somewhere and completely destroys any semblance of balance... That's when I have a problem!

So, when they say, "take life by the reins", I really think they mean it! And that is the best explanation I can give as to where I have been for the past 2-and-a-half months. Goodness knows I have been trying (and dieing) to get to this wonderful place and share with you what's been going on. Needless to say, Life got in the way and things have been a tiny bit crazy around here!

I have good news though! Now that so much time has passed I have many things to write about and to catch you up with! I am going to make a list here so that each and every one of you can hold me to it - you have my permission to bombard me with emails if 7 days goes by without a new post. New Year, new commitment, brand spanking new, genuine leather, top quality reins too!

I think that's a great start! I hope you'll wander back regularly now to see what's new. I am not a post-every-day kind of blogger (as I'm sure most of you know), but things will definitely be more regular now than once every two months!
