It seems like the days just fly right by in our household. Maybe you know what I'm talking about? I have been trying to post some pictures of a few finds for about 2 weeks now! Goodness, it feels like it was yesterday.
On the weekend of September 24th Calgary hosted the Creative Stitching and Crafting Alive Show at the Stampede Grounds. I usually try and make it to the show every year, but pretty much to see 2 booths.

The first should always be The Quilt Patch from Moosejaw, Saskatchewan, however, somehow it seems to always end up last. Maybe it's better that way though; by then I'll have spent my money and not buy so much since I pretty much love everything they have.
Recently Jeanne and Shelley published their first book. It's a wonderful one full of inspiring Christmas projects and not one of them is cheesey! I bought the book and I also bought a kit for one of the projects. Maybe their next book will be fall themed - they have a fabulous selection of autumn projects too!
You can shop online at The Quilt Patch. The book is available there as well as many of their patterns and kits. And of course, if you are in the Moose Jaw area, it's definitely worth the stop to have a quick shop!
I also found these sweet little FQs at a new booth (meaning one that I haven't noticed in previous years). They had a great deal on their FQs and I couldn't resist!
And then there's the second booth that I always have to visit. Hamels. Based in Chiliwack, British Columbia, it is a fabulous shop and they always have super sales on fabric bundles and great kits. Plus, all of their FQs are $1.99! This year they were just as fabulous as they have been in the past and I had a really hard time putting things back on the tables. I did however find a much coveted selection of Daiwabo fabrics. I have added them to my small, but growing, collection.
I have more adventures in shopping to share, but that will have to wait until another day. It's late and I have to figure out where my lost hexagon went so I can complete my flower for One Flower Wednesday. I have all but one, so I couldn't finish today and post - who knows where it went! Maybe the dog ate it!

If i get at it i will post what i purchased there too!

Lots of wonderful buys on your shopping spree.
I love getting fat quarters when I go to shops, easier to store too.
