Alright, another confession. I suck at making bread. That's what a bread maker is for. Whenever I have tried to make bread in the past, it always comes out wrong. A brick is a common sight when I take the pans out of the oven. Good thing my husband does stone and brick installation for a living! So, today, a dear friend of mine came over with her mix-master and a plethora of bread-making knowledge to guide me through the process step-by-step.
| The little tiny loaf belongs to Little Miss. She was thrilled to "help" in the process. |
This coming weekend will be a busy one, so it may take a while (again) before I get anything else up here. The quilt shop in the next town has asked me to run their booth at the area quilt show on Saturday, so I have to set up and take down as well. I love to merchandise and play with store stock, so it should be a fun day!
Many blissful, brickless, bread-making blessings!

Nice looking bread Heather!! I bet the first warm piece was delish!! I am planning on making it to the Quilt show this weekend so hopefully I will see you there working away! :)
Congrats! on your breadmaking eforts! I used to make bread, but used the bread-maker, I used a lot of hulled millet and millet flour in my loaves, it is a lovely grain and not used much. Now because I am time poor I buy my bread at a local organic sour-dough bakery! Have a wonderful time at the quilt show!!!
Looks great - I'm not so great - but use my bread machine many times a week.
Your bread looks wonderful! Enjoy your quilt show!
