Visiting Blogland

It's been some time now since I started being more regular about posting here.  Since I fancy visiting the blogging lives of others, I try to sneak in a little blog snooping now and then.  So, today I just wanted to pass on that I have added a few new ones to check out in my blogroll.  And, because I'm so kind, I've listed them here so you don't have to try and figure out which ones they are yourself!

(Note: All blog header images, logos, or other identifying details below are linked by URL and are under copyright of their original blog owners.)

Crazy for Primitive Quilts & Gardens Is owned by Colleen from Wisconsin.  A sweet blog with primitive decor.  Colleen has been blogging at this address since 2007 and has accumulated over 200 followers!  Maybe one day I'll get that many too!

For the Love of Threads A Canadian blogger from Saskatchewan, Barb has only been at this address since earlier this year.  Stop by and add to her followers, check her blog list, and leave her a comment about your visit.  New bloggers are always excited to hear from folks (well, all bloggers are actually, but new ones seem to get a special high!).

Glorious Applique Wow!  Glorious indeed!  This blog is maintained by a group of bloggers and has some extraordinary workmanship, creativity, and imagination.  With over 20 contributors there seems to be something fresh and new regularly.  Stop by for some ideas and inspiration.

Once Upon A Quilt If you'll notice the picture in the header of this blog, way in the back hall behind the dining table, there is a 1930's hexagon quilt that is featured in a post on the previous website under "Design Wall".  Yes, Christine is one of the contributors there, but has been blogging for quite some time on her own site which has over 220 followers.  Her fabrics and patterns are similar to my tastes, so I have enjoyed reading through her posts.

Pink Pincushion  A great little spot to waste some time in blogland.  Sinta Renee, from California, has been at this blog address since 2009 and has a whopping 260+ followers.  And no wonder!  Great photos, some super links (extensive lists), and I think there are even semi-regular give-aways!  Pop by with your next quiet moment cup of tea and you'll likely become a follower too!

Poppy Lane Is run by Kali from Tasmania, Australia.  Her latest post has a zillion of the most darling crochet flowers.  She also has a great list of tutorials, crafty items, and some inspirational photos.  Have fun perusing her posts for your next creative endeavour!

Red Pepper Quilts  A very busy place to read, shop, and find some inspirations.  Rita has an insane number of followers at over 1000 and has every reason to have collected so many!  She is from Melbourne, Australia and has some fantastic ideas, patterns, and a whole list of contact details including an Etsy store, and a link to click and follow her on twitter!  You go Rita!

Shakerwood Quilts  Cathi is very adventurous by overseeing 4 blogs!  This is the quilting related one, but there are also woolens, Christmas, and primitive blogs for you to link to through this site.  She is located in South Carolina and has been on blogger since 2008.  There are some lovely quilts pictured and a few links to check out.  Happy clicking!

Time to Stitch I am not sure how Sylvia actually has time to stitch!  Her recent posts show beautiful photos from her travels abroad.  She is a regular blogger with over 400 posts since 2009 and well worth the visit.  Her blog list is also worth checking out.  Happy trails Sylvia (and happy stitching too)!

And, now that you have passed the afternoon away (or whatever time of day it is), come back soon, it's always great to have visitors!

Heather
