One Flower Wednesday - August 4

So yes, you'd think I would be a little more organized knowing that every week Wednesday falls around the same time...  After Tuesday and before Thursday.

This evening I was so excited to actually be ready the eve before my post is actually due.  I grabbed the camera, searched out my hexy pieces and was ready to snap a shot of my pretty little flower for the week when this is what I found...

You'd also think that I would remember whether or not the silly thing was finished!  Oh well.  In my mind it was done, but the photo doesn't lie.  Too bad I don't think I will have the time tomorrow to quickly stitch those last petals onto the finished portion.  What a terrible picture too!  ACK!  I promise to do much better next week!

I will have much more time over the next couple of days though.  My countdown to the Eureka, Montana quilt show is coming to and end!  Hooray!  Tomorrow I finish household tidy-up, pick up my Mom from the airport in the evening, and head to Eureka on Thursday morning!  So excited!

Happy stitching all!

(Don't forget to scroll down to take a floral tour of my garden!)

That's okay, this flower just needs a little more time to bloom!
