Eureka!

We're on our way!  My annual trip to Eureka has finally arrived and I can't wait until Saturday to see what the quilt show brings out this year.

It's a lovely drive, a great weekend away, and a superb time to enjoy the finer things I am passionate about.  Not only is there a definite quilt-shop-hop in my future, but also a trip to the most amazing yarn and woolen goods shop I have seen...  Well...  Maybe ever!  Camas Creek Yarns is off the charts!

I was there earlier in the year, which was my first discovery.  Talk about a dream shop.  A copper painted tin tiled ceiling. Colour, colour everywhere.  Shelves of all sorts of glorious items enticing creativity from every fiber of my being (never mind all the fiber in the store).

Texture, colour, aroma, brick, glass, wood.  And all of this wrapped in an atmosphere of quaint comfort and home.

I'm sure when I return on Sunday there will be many more photos and stories of the treasures I've found while touring my way through the countryside - destination: Annual Creativity Boost!
