And yes, that's our dog, a Yorshire Terrier we named Chloe, checking out the new items. She is wondernig where her little gifty is, unfortunately this time Grandma didn't send her anything. Poor Chloe! The box was loaded with quilty stuff, including books, fabric, and a little spending money plus a special gift my Grandma sent along for my birthday.
That's right! A TIFFANY'S charm!! I couldn't believe it! And look at the wonderful civil war fabrics! Moms and Grandmas Rock!
And THEN, yes there's more (as if Tiffany's and fabrics are enough), Ms. C. Friend showed up on my doorstep with specialty mini cupcakes and MORE quilty stuff! It took all of 6 minutes before the cupkaes were tasted and 10 minutes after that there was nothing but crumbs and papers. Delicious! She brought with her some new fabric by Jo Morton (a black from the Ravenwood line), some fabric flags (for pinning to large pieces so you can mark on the yardage), the Civil War Diaries CD, and a fabulous new pattern. All from the Fat Quarter Shop.
Thanks for brightening my day Gran, Mom, and C.Friend! I think I will go and call Mrs. A. Friend and tell her all about it!

How funny, you were excited about the Tiffany Charm and I was wowed by the blue box!!! I wouldn't mind just the box. We have a Tiffany's here in San Diego and I hope to take my picture outside the store someday:-)
Visiting from One Flower Wedneday, welcome.
