What Have I Been Up To?

Well, not much in the way of quilting!  Sadly, that's the truth.  And now I'm going to open the door of my quilting room to you and hang my head in shame...

It's true, I haven't been in my room for about two-and-a-half months.  Ok, ok, you can gasp again if you want, but it's true.  And it seems that my room is the dumping ground for everything in the house that doesn't have a home.

I have some serious work to do, and some serious purging too!  Look at everything all over the place.  Oh, I just want to cry!  Ack!  And where does a girl start?  I'm dying to get to work on so many projects, but I can't even find the sewing machine in order to flick the switch and turn it on.

However, there is something to be thankful for...  See those shelves there?  The ones in the middle-ish on the right...  Look how pretty and organized they are.  Properly stacked, folded, and put a way for use one day when I have time (whatever that means).  So, can you guess what my next big job is after the laundry room is finished and I have cleaned out my bedroom (don't ask)?

Wish me luck and if I don't resurface here in a few days make sure you contact me so I can be hauled out of there in one piece!

I understand how the bonus room can get like that - we've had ours look even worse many a time! Hopefully you can takle your bedroom and move onto the bonus room soon so you can get some sewing done!

This looks very familiar to me. Your untidiness still looks very attractive when compared to mine.

You've got a well stocked studio. Good luck on staying focused on tidying it up before the urge to quilt strikes again.

My sewing room becomes a dumping room too! This especially happens when we are having visitors!

I have to say Heather that you are a brave girl indeed and congratulations on being so honest LOL, about your sewing room and all that it contains!!!!! I also know that when you get touched by the cleaning fairy it will be done in no time at all LOL!! By the way, after she leaves could we see how well she did??? !!! LOL!!! I did have a little chuckle to myself too Heather, this is a priceless post, I loved it!!!!

Oh Heather, you need to dump in the man room not your sewing room. What happened to the bedroom :) I know you said don't ask but...? We have all been there now that you've shown us all so bravely you will be forced into action so I expect you will be back to sewing in no time. ps the milk jug has me baffled :))
