Fabric & Yarn Don't Usually Sparkle...

But THIS sure does!  Have I been a good girl or something?  It's our 10-ish year anniversary this year (together for 12, married for 9) and my engagement ring has seen better days (it has been repaired 3 times already).  This purchase has been a long time in coming, several years in fact.  For whatever reason, finances or timing, our situation just didn't allow for it.  So, this past Sunday somehow it actually happened!

I love it!  Well, who wouldn't!?  Thanks Mr. Confessions, you're still my one and only!  The wedding band has 11 stones totalling approximately 0.5ct and the 3-stone band totals around 1.5ct.  WOWSA!  I'm constantly staring at my finger!

Happy Mother's Day to mothers and fathers-who-are-mothers, aunties, grandmas, and the sisterhood of friends who are mothers to us too.

Congratulations! A truly gorgeous ring. Be careful that you stop looking at it when sewing. It would be tempting to keep looking at it, sparkling under the sewing machine lights, but you don't want to sew over your finger!

Lovely rings - worth the wait - thanks for the postcard I received today - the stamps are beautiful - we are off on our trip to UK & Europe in 3 weeks & will be away for 3 months. I'll be blogging while away to take everyone else along for the ride - so keep a look out.

Lovely -- diamonds really are a girl's best. I'm getting my rings resized so I'm looking forward to getting it back this week.

DH sure should get a few favorite dinners and hugs.
