I'm STILL working on it - my "Bali Wedding Star" pattern by Judy Niemeyer. It is slowly becoming the bain of my days with so many repetative pieces to put together. I am determined to get it done though... By Friday!
Maybe if all of you cross your fingers for me and send good quilting thoughts, vibes of quick needles, wavelengths of precise paper piecing, and maybe, just maybe, it will actually get finished.
I have almost completed all the individual arc, melon, and star pieces. Then they all get sewn together to make the blocks. Originally I was thinking I might fill in the scallops to make the quilt square without the scalloped borders. However, with time being tight and since I am slightly partial to the look of the scallops I am going to leave them.
As long as the snacks, tea, and quilting vibes are flowing, my sewing machine will keep on sewing! Here's to a finished project by Friday! Wish me luck!
