The short answer is No. I confess, yes once again, I didn't make it to the deadline originally set out to have my wedding ring quilt finished. I tried, believe me, I tried.
However, the good news is that it turns out the lady who will be doing the quilting is a little behind as well and has agreed (for the better of both of us) to take it after the New Year! Hooray!
The pieces are almost all completely together. All the arcs for the ring part of the quilt are ready, and many of the melons (that contain the star points) are set to go as well. The outer edge blocks that make the corners and the edge scallops are ready to go. I'm well on my way!
I guess that means I can take a break for a moment or two to scrub the basting glue of my finger tips and find something else more "Christmassy" to get into!

Set a new deadline and keep plugging along. That is the way I feel about my queen size applique project!!
Hello little Heather..
Happy birthday! Yahoo! I know i am a day early but one never knows if they will be here tomorrow so i am sending this today! You and your Michael look so cute in your photo here on the blog. Wow, it has been so long since we saw you both. August, i believe? Looking forward to the next time we meet. Hello to your wonderful man and beautiful Vienna.
Oh, and I guess i should comment on the ringy thing you are making. Not sure what it is but it looks like way too much work. Why not read a good magazine or do something fun! Smile!
Much love. Uncle Ross.
Wow, that is a hard one! I haven't tried the wedding ring quilt yet. Even though I am working on a "wedding quilt" right now, I chose an easier route and picked the railroad design. Enjoy!
WOW! I"m loving these colors!
