It's Here! Sweet Dreams!

Some of you may remember way back in the summer I endeavoured to take over my master bedroom on a "deal" Mr. Confessions made with me.  I can safely say, and likely so can many of you, that a Mr. should never make a deal with his Mrs. when there is no chance that he can win.  In short, Mr. Confessions was a way for a week and said, "While I'm away, if you tidy up and organize our room, I will buy you any bed you want from any store, in any style, I don't care what you choose."  Hellllooooo fine furnishings showroom!

After the bedroom do-over (click for pics of finished room), I dragged Mr. Confessions and the Visa to McArthur's Fine Furniture (might as well get some travel points too!) in the city to order my choice of beds.  It is a solid oak, hand made, Mission style piece from Stickley in upstate New York.  Well, he did say any bed!

Then, several months later, the glorious day arrived - and so did the McArthur's truck!  Hooray!  The delivery men were excellent and had everything together in less than 30 minutes!  I oooo-ed and aaaaah-ed the whole time.

And, the moment we have all been waiting for...  Here it is, my new bed.  I absolutely LOVE it in our room and it matches perfectly with the colours I chose all those months and days ago.  Sweet dreams everyone!  I know I'll be having them for many years to come!
