It's Tuesday, so for us Carstairs Weight Watchers attenders, that means weigh-in is today! Even though I am in Winfield, BC right now, it turns out that their tell-all day is Tuesday as well. The scales don't lie they say, but I was good-ish this week, so I am now a total of 27 lbs down! I think that's not too darn bad if I do say so myself! It has taken a long time to get this far, and a 5 month plateau didn't help, plus it can be very discouraging to lose only 0.2 lbs or 0.6 lbs for several weeks in a row... But I'm getting there, ounce by ounce!
Here are some tips for you other Weight Watchers:
Wear light clothes on weigh-in day
Always go to the ladies room right before you weigh-in
Don't wear a push-up, water, or other "heavy duty" bra
Drink your water (non caffinated, sugar free count too - like herbal teas!)
Exercise at least 3 times a week, more if you can find the time.
Explore the internet for great recipe ideas or even the Weight Watchers site
Don't get discouraged, think about the long-term big picture
Of course this is not to say that you should try and trick your way to a weight loss goal, following the program is the key... But, helpful hints are always useful! Hopefully I will beat the 30 lb mark by the end of June!
